Small Groups

WHAT ARE SMALL GROUPS?

Small Groups, a powerful tool for life change and spiritual growth, connect us to Christ and to each other.  At Cypress, these are growing, purposeful, caring communities of 3 to 15 people with a common interest.  Small Groups gather regularly to help each other practice biblical community, laugh together, engage in the larger community, build trusting friendships, and pursue spiritual growth.

Centuries ago, churches were groups of friends, neighbors, and family members who gathered regularly in homes to investigate and celebrate what it meant to follow Jesus. They came together to build relationships, to help, to encourage, to challenge each other, and to make a difference in their communities and in the world. Today, at Cypress, we aim for that same goal.  Every weekend, we gather together for corporate worship; during the week, we gather in Small Groups throughout the west side of Columbus to see, experience, and become all that God desires for us.

How do I get involved?

Getting involved with a Small Group is a great opportunity to get connected to others who are committed to following Jesus Christ.  Relationships are essential to your growth, no matter where you are on your spiritual journey.  If you would like more information on joining or starting a Small Group, email Drew Gillespie or call the church office, ext. 228.
